Gravestone and Flowers
Grave in Swanage graveyard.

Unity. This image, a humble piece of stone. The stone carved by man to represents the only future we have. There is no one alive that knew this person yet the flowers unite the present and the past and so the future for all. Yes, this person is known to some for his actions, which is why he died. Even though this grave is empty it still marks the end.

Ansel Adams has followed this path. His pictures continue as a part of our history as viewed through his window.

The next image is looking through the window of my eyes to see the landscape around. This is not a reflection or a memory but a picture that someone who has been here will have their own memory invoked or someone who has not will wish they were.

These images are now global, due in part to the nature of our culture with exposure. I feel that they are more global because the landscape will only change slowly, and it will be years before the landscape is no longer recognisable but where man is involved change is so rapid because of the limitations of our fate.
