Stretching the legs, with the work in the first week of the course. it was good to go out with the camera. I ventured to two locations neither dramatic and not during the golden hour. The first part of the plan was to create images that captured the landscape in a new dimension. The second area considered was to utilise a static object to create an image from black to white.

Both parts I feel were a success with simple locations transformed into very different views. Agreed the images may not work for everyone but in the direction that the project is heading these more abstract images are a good test of viability. The conclusion I can draw from these images is that it if defiantly worth exploring further.
The image of the monument was inspired by Andy Warhol’s Empire. David Campany has for images from the 1964 film of the Empire States building which our local monument resembles..
